About Us

The journey of Palazzone began in 1960 when Remo and Giulia Palazzone launched their first pastry shop in Clifton, NJ. Their hard work ethic, commitment to delivering authentic quality products, and excellent customer service led to immediate success.

Their narrative mirrors that of numerous Italian immigrants, rooted in sacrifice, courage, family, and passion. In the early 70s, after years of long hours and dedication to their enterprise, the Palazzone family made the decision to sell the business and return to Italy to raise their four children. Giancarlo and his siblings grew up observing their parents as they built the business and listening to tales of their experiences in America.

In 2012, Giancarlo chose to bring his expertise to the United States and pursue the American Dream. He opened Palazzone 1960, the same year his parents started their business in Wayne, NJ.

The café perfectly blends traditional and modern styles, providing old-world quality in a contemporary ambiance. Made with authentic and delectable ingredients, everything Palazzone 1960 produces is captivating and a true reflection of the excellence found in Italian baking and cuisine.
